Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains what SabiLearn collects, why, and the control you have over it. The short version: we collect what we need to run your learning, we never sell your data, and you can ask for a copy or deletion anytime.

01What we collect

Account data (name, email, password hash), learning activity (courses you open, lesson progress, quiz results, certificates), purchase records (amounts, currency, status — card details stay with the payment processor), instructor profile data, and technical data such as device type and approximate region used for security and analytics.

02How we use it

To sign you in, deliver the courses you are entitled to, remember your progress, process payments and refunds, issue certificates, keep the platform secure, and understand — in aggregate — how the product is used so we can improve it.

03What we never do

We do not sell your personal data, we do not show you third-party advertising, and we do not let instructors see individual learners' data beyond aggregate course statistics and the names learners choose to display.

04Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for sign-in, security and preferences. Details live in the cookie policy.

05Service providers

We rely on a few processors to run the platform: cloud hosting and video delivery (Cloudflare), database hosting (Neon), payment processing, transactional email (Resend), and product analytics (PostHog). Each only receives the data needed for its job.

06Retention

We keep your account and learning records while your account is active. Purchase and payout records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Deleted accounts are purged from production systems within 30 days, except records we must legally keep.

07Your rights

You can access and correct your data in account settings, and you can request a full export or deletion by emailing privacy@miltonvernyuy.com. We answer within 30 days.

08Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions are encrypted, video delivery uses signed short-lived URLs, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you we will tell you promptly.

09Young learners

The platform is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Learners between 13 and 16 should use the platform with a parent's consent.

10Changes and contact

Material changes will be announced by email before they take effect. Privacy questions: privacy@miltonvernyuy.com.
