Reviewing courses

The queue, the quality bar, and writing decisions instructors can act on.

01The queue

The review queue lists submitted courses oldest-first. Open one to see the full course as students would: page copy, curriculum, and playable samples of every video. Review from the queue, never from the live catalog — what you see there is exactly what was submitted.

02The quality bar

Approve when: the course delivers its page's promise, audio is clear throughout, the curriculum is coherent and complete, content is original or licensed, and pricing is plausible for what is offered. Borderline cases go to changes requested, not rejection — the goal is a good catalog, not a small one.

03Writing the decision

Approvals need no essay — one line is fine. Changes requested must list concrete, fixable items: “Lessons 4–6 have echoing audio”, not “audio could be better”. The instructor receives your notes verbatim by email; write them as instructions you could follow yourself.

04Turnaround matters

Instructors plan around review time; a queue older than a few days is a platform problem, not an instructor inconvenience. If you cannot clear the queue, say so early rather than letting it age silently.
